Taking Good Care of the Family Jewels

The male sex organ is arguably the most valued body part for most men. After all, it promises innumerable exciting adventures under the sheets and ensures the continuation of their species even after they’re long gone! Thus, men owe it to their family jewels to always keep them clean, healthy and ready for action!

Unfortunately, a lot of men have the slightest idea on how to properly take care of their private parts. Naturally covered with pubic hair and overactive sweat glands, men’s nether region is a damp, dark place — an oasis to infection and odor-causing microorganisms. Layers of underwear and clothing promotes sweating and the proliferation of bacteria that can cause itchiness or an off-putting smell.

So if your wife or girlfriend refuses to go down there because of the stench, you might be one of those men who need to change their daily hygiene regimen. Don’t fret, here are some tips to help you improve your personal grooming habits.

Tend the forest. Bushy pubic hair, moistened by sweat, is the Disneyland of bacteria! So if you don’t want these microorganisms to wreak havoc in your nether region, endeavor to shave, wax or at least trim your pubic hair.

Be gentle. The skin in the nether region is more delicate and sensitive than the rest of the body. Be thorough but gentle when washing your private parts to avoid irritation. You may use a clean washcloth or shower pouf to scrub away dirt, sweat and bacteria that cause that strong, off-putting smell.

Wash with the right products. Only use a small amount of soap or shower gel to wash your private parts. Choose bath products that are specially formulated for men’s skin and do not contain harsh chemicals that may cause dryness or irritation.

Clean underneath the foreskin. Uncircumcised men should gently pull back the foreskin as they clean their penis to wash off accumulated smegma that causes bad odor which can also lead to infection.

Rinse off properly. Make sure to rinse off with warm water and flush out all soap or bath products from your skin. Soap residue, when mixed with sweat and bacteria, can lead to infection.

Dry yourself completely. Using a clean towel, dry off your groin area completely before dressing up to eliminate any possible breeding ground for microorganisms. Once completely dry, you may apply hygiene products such as ToppCock Silver which prevents the growth of bacteria and help you stay fresh and clean all day long. Apply it again in the middle of the day or after a strenuous activity to re-freshen without bathing.

Wear clean undies and clothes. Don’t put all the cleaning and scrubbing to waste by wearing unwashed underwear! Only put on freshly laundered undergarments and clothes after bathing and washing your private parts to ensure that you stay clean and fresh all day. Also use underwear that are made from fabrics that keep moisture away from your skin.

These basic hygiene tips will not only benefit you — your partner will probably be grateful too!
